If you’re going to take advice from anyone on the various complexities of building an online business and making money from the Internet, you have a darn good right to know who exactly you’re taking that advice from.
With that said, let me introduce myself…
My name is Paul Crane, and I’ve been generating significant revenue from the Internet since 2002.
I’m the founder and web master of UltimateFatBurner.com (a highly-respected science-based supplement review site that receives over half a million visitors per month) and Real-Customer-Comments.com (a site founded in 2007 as a destination for visitors to find and post “real” comments on many of the super-hyped sports and weight loss supplements on the market).
I worked for one the web’s “true” gurus, Ken Evoy of SiteSell.com, from 2000-2006 as the Site Build It! Product Manager (I would probably still be there if not for a cancer diagnosis in late December 2005 that dramatically changed my perspectives and priorities. Regardless, I count myself extremely lucky to have been able to work with and learn from one of the smartest, ethical, and most customer-focused people I have ever met).
Let me be clear…
I’m no guru.
I’m an “in the trenches” guy. In other words, I learn from the best and the brightest, implement the strategies that work, toss out the ones that don’t, and chalk the rest up to experience.
In 10 years of running UltimateFatBurner.com and 6 years of deep “in the trenches” work with SiteSell.com, I have a pretty good feel of what works and what does not. I’m not always right, of course, but I like to think I can bring a practical and occasionally different perspective to Internet Marketing that is sometimes missing with the gurus.
What’s this site about?
No-BS-Marketing is a straight-forward, “BS”-free look at the various tools and strategies that may (or may not) help grow your business. I’ll cover applications, strategies, social media, link building, SEO… anything and everything that applies to building a successful business online.
And of course, I reserve the right to rant about the things that annoy the you-know-what out of me.
But NO-BS-Marketing is a little different. Here’s why…
I’m not here to shill the latest and greatest IM-related products, software and services for a fat commission check. I’m here because I love (and live) Internet Marketing, and want to both indulge that passion, and share it with you.
From my first real introduction to the Internet in a buddy’s music studio back in 1997 (I was a hard rock musician doing some recording at the time) I was hooked. Here was tool that would leverage my time and my efforts. Here was a tool that would allow me to work remotely from any location in the world. Here was the path to financial freedom.
If you think the Internet offers the same opportunity to you; you’re right. But you need to be realistic about your expectations, and careful from whom you take advice.
That’s what I’m here for.

You won’t.
I’ve built my business on being truthful and honest. Yes, even when it’s not what my visitors want to hear. Even when being truthful is financially costly. But that’s my philosophy, and I don’t intend to change now. Besides, it ensures I sleep soundly every night. 
And that’s what’s No-BS-Marketing is about. Straight up reporting. A detailed overview of both the pros and cons of any strategy. Delivered concisely. Without BS.
And absolutely none of the “contrived gushing to earn a commission” crap you’ll find elsewhere.
