This morning, I received an e-mail promising to reveal to me the jealously-guarded secrets of the Internet guru’s (”gurus” is always misspelled, with an apostrophe denoting possession) and therefore, the key to unlimited riches. To date, I’ve received about 6 million, 3 hundred and twenty five thousand unsolicited e-mails claiming the same thing.
Seems to me those gurus aren’t particularly good at hiding their secrets. 
Anyhow, since I’m feeling particularly annoyed by this latest barrage of “instant riches” spam, I figured I would share the real secret of the gurus with you for no cost.
Nope. Nien. Nyet. Nothing. There’s nothing to buy. NO deferred payments. And no e-mail address or credit card is required. So…
Are you ready for the key to making BIG money on the Net? You are? OK then, here we go…
1) First: Buy, develop, or pay to develop a zero-incremental cost product of HIGH value (a zero-incremental cost product is one that costs you nothing beyond the design and development. Whether you sell one or ten million, your cost is exactly the same. Some examples are sofware (downloadable), e-goods, seminars, video lessons, etc).
2) Second: Create (or pay to have created) a slick and professional web site that sells the product effectively.
3) Third: Implement an affiliate program and pay generous commissions (I’m talking 30-50%).
4) Fourth: Develop/utilize joint venture partnerships with the respected, credible authorities in your niche, especially those with large mailing lists.
5) Fifth: Open a second bank account. You’re gonna need it.
Seriously… that’s about it.
